Clay Aiken is a runner-up again – this time on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” to Arsenio Hall
Okay, I’ve waited until after midnight to post this so if you don’t want to know who won NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice last night, you should not be on the Internet!
So don’t scold me!
I tuned in for the last half hour and saw a very unlikely duet of Lean on Me between finalists Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall (see below).
Anyway, Donald Trump praised both men for their performances during the season and ultimately chose Hall as the winner.
So this means Clay has twice been runner-up on reality show competitions since he came to fame as runner-up during season two of American Idol to Ruben Stoddard.
But since Clay is not only a far bigger star than Ruben – and one of the most successful Idol alums ever – second place really isn’t so bad!

Clay was robbed again.
Joe says:
Would love to know Trump’s rationale for the final decision since Clay was in control, had a much better variety show, and doubled the money earned by Arsenio.
I will not be watching Celebrity Apprentice any longer. I just can’t take sourpuss Trump and that dead possum on his head any longer.
The great thing for Clay is that he raised a bunch of money for his charity and got good exposure on a weekly television show again. I love Clay…he’s one of a kind!

Did anyone really think that a bigot like Trump would actually pick an openly gay man for anything?
