Christmas Day Morning Man Classic: Peter Billingsley of “A Christmas Story” is all grown up now!
We’ve already watched A Christmas Story this morning – a Christmas Day tradition.
Requests in the film for a genuine Red Ryder B-B gun quickly catapulted the star Peter Billingsley who played Ralphie, to instant stardom and has since driven the 1983 film into pop culture lore as the classic modern-day Christmas tale.
Well look at Ralphie now!
Billingsley is now 40 and he’s no tragic story of a child star with no second act. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2001 for the critically acclaimed Independent Film Channel series Dinner for Five and served as executive producer on the hit film The Break-Up starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn.
More recently, Billingsley has executive produced both Iron Man films and directed the hit comedy Couples Retreat.
He has grown up well!
