Chico’s Angels are back! “Love Boat Chicas” opens this week at Cavern Club Theatre in Silver Lake

I try to never miss a Chico’s Angels show because they are an absolute hoot!

This is a trio that has been playing off each other for more than a decade and their chemistry and comedic timing has been perfected.

Trust me.

So if you have never been to a Chico’s Angels show I recommend you catch their latest production of Chico’s Angels 2: Love Boat Chicas which opens this week at the Cavern Club Celebrity Theatre in Silver Lake – the theater is in the basement of the popular Casita Del Campo restaurant.

The three lead characters are Frieda Laye (the “friendly” one), Kaye Sedia (the pretty one), and Chita Parol (the smart one) and they have been portrayed for the past 13 years on stage by Danny Casillas, Oscar Quinteroand Ray Garcia, respectively.

In this show, the trio with the underground cult following take on a case on The Love Boat to find out who is trying to kill super-star Charo! And as with every production, the show features a shirtless hunk.

The show opens on March 29 and runs through April 8 Shows are Wednesday thru Sunday, plus Sunday Matinees. Tickets on sale now at www.chicosangels.com
