Cher chats with “Kelly & Mark”

Okay, I’ll just say right now: There are going to be a lot of Cher interviews posted on this site over the next week because the icon is on a massive publicity tour for her new memoir: Cher (Part 1). I bought it at the airport to read during a 90 minute flight and wished the flight was longer because I was in such a groove with it. It is TERRIFIC. I promise. Her childhood, teen stardom, career lows, hit TV shows, Sonny Bono, Gregg Allman – it’s all here and she was wise to split it into two volumes. Not fair really to compare to Streisand’s book but Cher is so different, so much more down-to-Earth and telling it like it is. I am loving the book.
