You think I’m gonna miss out on the chance to see Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Alex Pettyfer playing male strippers and wearing next to nothing on the big screen?

There’s no way!

Entertainment Weekly is featuring much of the hunky cast on the cover of next week’s issue even though the film isn’t due out for another month.

Tatum is on the cover alone but when you open the flaps of the cover, he is accompanied by the drop-dead gorgeous trio of McConaughey, Manganiello and Bomer.

EW reports that it “brought the group back together for a wet and wild photo shoot followed by a rowdy, booze-soaked dinner, where the costars swapped their best stories about acting, waxing, and baring (nearly) everything in their new film. ”Actors, generally, if we finish our scenes early one day, we go home. It wasn’t like that on this set. Especially during the dances—we were there cheering everybody on,” says Tatum, who was there when a frenzied group of extras accidentally ripped off McConaughey’s thong during a dance number. “It was a collection of women being like, ‘I have to tip him,’ and then the weight of all the dollar bills in their hands just took [his thong] off,” Tatum recalls, laughing. Consummate actor that he is, McConaughey didn’t even break character. “I stayed in sequence,” he says proudly. “I went for the tuck. [Mimes covering his manhood] I went for the roll. [Mimes doing a forward roll] And I finished the dance.”

I think it’s my favorite interview with McConaughey ever.

Here are some excerpts:

On stripping for the upcoming film Magic Mike in which he plays a strip club owner named Dallas: At first it was scary as hell, but then it became like a drug, and I couldn’t wait to do it again. Look, I love to dance, but I’ve never been a stripper. Channing [Tatum’s] one of the best hip-hop street dancers I’ve ever seen, and I didn’t want to challenge his style, so I worked on my own strengths. I also knew that my dance had to be the dirtiest. It had to be wonderfully filthy. … That’s all me up there. I don’t need a stunt ass.”

On who is the hottest stripper in Magic Mike: “Dallas, of course. [Laughs] Everybody was pretty damn ripped already, but boy, if you really want to get men in great shape, just tell them they’re going to play male strippers in a movie and have their shit onscreen for the rest of time. Vanity, baby.”

On if the gay community will enjoy Magic Mike: “Well, I would hope and reckon so. They should be pumped, and they should come out in droves, because they won’t be let down. I think they’ll come out more excited then they came in. I look forward to hearing the chatter of the gay community after they see it, including their answer to your question of who’s the hottest.”

On his gay fanbase: “It’s much appreciated. You know, I have some good friends of my own who happen to be gay, and when it comes to gay, straight, or whatever, I’m for anything life-affirmative. I’m for gay power, straight power, male power, female power; everybody should feel empowered without oppressing anyone who’s different. You know those World Cup banners about tolerance? I always thought that was one short. No, don’t just tolerate me. Understand and accept me.”

On being gay friendly: “I had an experience in college [University of Texas at Austin] when I befriended a kid who was from India. He was a bit of an outcast, but we were in a film class together. One night, after he’d had a few drinks, he made a half-pass at me. I went like, “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” and he freaked out. I think he thought I was going to be violent or something. I stopped him and said, “Hang on, I’m not gay, but I like you as a friend. I’m sorry if you misread my friendship, but I still want to be your friend.” He was crying, and I remember giving him a hug and saying, “Dude, it’s fine. Whatever raises your skirt, man.” He asked me not to tell anybody, and I said, “You got it.” I didn’t tell anybody, and we remained friends.

Fassbender talks about those kind of jokes and more in the new issue of GQ:

“It’s fun to a point,” he says of these situations he has been facing, “and after a certain point you worry that it kind of detracts from the movie. But there’s nothing I can do. I just have to laugh it off. I can. Pretty much. Because I take my work seriously but I can’t take myself too seriously. I’m in such a crazy privileged position—shit, this is the pinnacle of the dream when I was 17…. Nobody wants to hear really how difficult it is.”

The X Factor UK star, who was the show’s runner up in 2009, shocked a reporter from the Star Observer in Sydney when he was questioned about his sexuality.

He said: ‘I’m a straight guy and I date women, but I get on really well with gay guys. I’m very comfortable with my sexuality.

‘The weirdest thing for me is when straight guys get really freaked out by gay guys. It’s almost like they’re insecure in their own sexuality. For me, I can be in a room full of gay men and have fun.’

The actor, who plays closeted gay cowboy husband Blake, tells E! Online that he works out hard before his shirtless scenes.

“Generally, I keep myself fit with cardio and normal workouts but early on I went to the producers and I said, ‘Look I’m 44 years old. I need a heads-up if you’re going to ask me to be shirtless. Give me a weekend or so.’”

“I think generally in life, I’m hetero-fit,” Deklin added. “But gay-fit and straight-fit are two different things. I was like, You know what, I really gotta step it up. It’s not enough to sort of be generally athletic—I’ve got to be shredded.”

Not that I mind!

But now that the Cuban-born heartthrob is sizzling on the dance floor on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, he’s become famous in a big way.

So much so that William is currently featured on two different covers of People Magazines – same issue, different color shirts).

(I’m just glad William was featured and that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were relegated to a tiny photo on the side.)

Anyway, there’s a video of the photo shoot below and hunky William says of his new level of fame: “I might be doing all these good things now, but I’m still a very humble person and I think you should never lose that. When you lose that, you lose the chance to enjoy life with everyone around you.”

Of being on DWTS he says: “It’s not easy at all. It’s hard. It’s not the same thing as when you come in and learn your script. This is like a dance routine that I had never done before.”

I’ve loved Chris since the first time I laid eyes on him in the film Cellular.

He’s gone on to star in the Fantastic Four franchise and now Captain America and The Avengers.

His mother participates in the interview with Details and shares all kinds of information including this: He hates going to the gym; he was so wound-up as a kid she’d let him stand during dinner, his legs shaking like caged greyhounds; he suffered weekly “Sunday-night meltdowns” over schoolwork and the angst of the sensitive middle-schooler; after she and his father split and he was making money from acting, he bought her the Sudbury family homestead rather than let her leave it.

I know he didn’t want to star in Brokeback Mountain but I don’t really have a problem with the guy at this point and think he’s lovely to look at.

But to those who aren’t too keen on Mark, I offer you this: Michael Fassbender!

The star of Shame turned 35 yesterday and really is just about the sexiest star out there right now.

Matt, the star of USA network’s White Collar, is one of the stars of the upcoming male stripper flick Magic Mike.

These hunky dudes were at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night getting all kinds of attention at the 45th anniversary party for The Advocate.

They weren’t just popular for their pecs: they spent the evening handing out Macys gift cards.

Guests won’t know until they use the card at a Macys how much money is on the card – it could be anywhere from $10 to $5,000.

Am very excited about Martina Navratilova joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars but the gay man in me is doing backflips (oh, if only I could) at the inclusion of telenovela star William Levy.

I’ve featured Mr. Levy as a Morning Man in the past so his beauty has not escaped me. But the chance to see him dance each week is very exciting indeed.

This hunky actor was born in Cuba and risked his life to come to Florida when he was 15. He went to high school in Miami and learned English then began an acting career when he landed a supporting role in Telemundo’s Los Teens.

His modeling career also took off and he got his biggest acting break when he was cast in the role of Vasco Darien in Pasion, an epic novella production set in Mexico’s colonial period.

His DWTS partner will be Cheryl Burke. Lucky bitch.

We all know that Channing Tatum has a new romantic drama out today called The Vow.

It’s about a couple who have to start over after the wife (Rachel McAdams) wakes up after a car accident and can’t remember being married to her husband.

Now how can you forget you are married to Channing Tatum???

Anyway, the film we really want to see starring Mr. Tatum is Magic Mike which is based on the hunky actor’s experience working as a male stripper back in the day. It also stars Alex Pettyfer (pictured with Tatum), Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello, among others.

The Hollywood Reporter chatted a bit with Tatum about Magic Mike at this week’s premiere of The Vow.

“We really want it to be good,” he said. “I know it’s getting a lot of press and a lot of hype and it’s scary when that happens because you just want people to like it, or to understand it.”

Tatum is also a producer on the film.

“It’s not all my life, but it’s definitely all my experiences,” he said. “I basically poured all my memories and stories out. We just kind of wrote something entirely unique to itself.”

Well, Mario didn’t disrobe for us again when he co-hosted The Wendy Williams Show this week but he did bring along a sexy quartet of models to show viewers the line of skivvies.

Also, Wendy brought along a cardboard cutout of Mario doing some of the modeling himself! I think the cutout is a little too small so I’ve reposted one of his modeling pics!

White Collar star Matt Bomer was in Indianapolis this weekend for the Super Bowl.

On Saturday, he was among the celebs who participated in DIRECTV’s Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl Game at Victory Field.

Matt is pictured with his son Kit in the top photo and in the bottom photo, with his college pal Joe Manganiello of True Blood.

Manganiello will guest on this week’s White Collar and, along with Bomer, is among the stars of the male stripper flick Magic Mike!

Maybe I’m just ticked off because every time I’ve met Dan Cortese, he has a shirt on.

Miss White just turned 90 and she gets to play with a shirtless Cortese who guest stars in an upcoming episode of Hot In Cleveland.

Betty’s character of Elke describes Dan’s character this way: ”He doesn’t have much going on upstairs, but he has plenty down below!”

Dan is still very hot at 44 but he also has great comic chops which is really why I became a big fan of his. I absolutely loved his chemistry opposite Jennie Garth during the last season of What I Like About You.

“That was some of my best work,” Dan told me when we chatted in the summer of 2009. “I would read these scripts and every day I would go to work and say to Karen Lucas, who was the showrunner at the time, and I’d say, ‘No guy would ever say this to a woman.’ She’s like, “Shut up. It’s my fantasy. That’s why you’re a fireman, that’s why we have you in tight shirts. Just read the lines.”

I also told Dan he was every woman’s dream, every gay man’s dream.

“That’s good!” he said, laughing. “A fan is a fan. I’ll take it as long as I can get it.”
