Scott regularly posts workout videos and scores of appealing photos in an effort to inspire folks to workout with him. He has succeeded in amassing  into a loyal following called the “Hermanation”

I met Scott at the GLAAD Media Awards in LA in April and he said: “I want to be as real as possible. When I was growing up, my dad always taught me to respect people and to listen. The opportunity that I have is to change people’s lives.”

I wondered if Scott ever wanted to let himself go for a week, break out the potato chips and curl up on the sofa: “I have this thing that goes off in my head like if I don’t work out or eat correctly for like a day or two, I go crazy. I have to go for a run or I have to do something. It’s a sickness, it really is.

Well, Matt Bomer is my crush pretty much every season but this is extra cool because he’s been photographed in a wet T-shirt and, I’m sure you will agree, looks delicious.

I’m a huge fan of Leonardo [DiCaprio]‘s and [director] Christopher Nolan’s. It looks amazing just from the trailers. The dream world looks unbelievable.

Books: Portrait of an Addict as a Young Man by Bill Kleg. It’s an addiction memoir about a rising literary agent whose life spirals out of control when he gets addicted to crack. I read about in The New Yorker and New York Times. It really intrigued me. Man, if they ever did a movie about this, I’d want to do it. The summertime, people get into that salacious type stuff. This one is really gripping and entertaining.

The Scissor Sisters are back with their first album in four years, Night Work, and lead singer Jake Shears has never looked better.

So why not have him take his short off an pose for photographer Kevin Amato for the cover of the August issue of The Advocate?

Tommy has been off the tour with injury since February and he is sure missed by his fans. He’s been plagued by injury through much of his career but that didn’t stop him from making the Wimbledon semifinals a few years back and from rising as high as number two in the world.

Tommy, a German star who recently became an American citizen, is currently ranked 34th in the world. I’m not sure when he’ll rejoin the tour so thought it would be fun to share some photos from his Facebook page taken by fans who know a good thing when they see it!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has no problem being featured on the cover of Village Voice’s queer issue as long as he looks good!

Mike had previously said he is flattered that gay men have crushes on him: “I’ll be honest, I like the attention.”

E! Online tracked down Guadagino for reaction to the cover and he said: “I don’t give a s–t, man. I’ve done so many photoshoots and they’re pretty much all the same. I go in there, do my thing, take my shirt off, get my hair and my make-up done and they dress me. I take the pictures and wherever they end up, they end up.”

So who saw the CNN’s Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help telethon last night?

I was watching to see if there were any altercations between Kathy Griffin and Ryan Seacrest but those silly girls behaved themselves (Kathy referred to Ryan as “she” last week on Larry King Live).

At one point Kathy tweeted: Sitting between Ryan seacrest & Nicole Ritchie. If I can face everyone in my act u can donate!!

But Kathy  had the good sense to point out the hottest guy in the room who, surprisingly, was not Ian Somerhalder or True Blood’s Sam Trammell!

No, it was Philippe Cousteau, the hunky grandson of the late Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau.

Kathy tweeted: Attn all gays, don’t u just wanna donate cause that hot as shit Philippe Cousteau Jr, or whatever is here??? I’d like to go deep with him.

Kathy added later when a Twitter follower chided her: That was A JOKE. We tend to need a lot of those at times like this, yes?

Look for Philippe as a future Morning Man!

Flipping through the new issue of People magazine this morning, all I could think was, “Zac Efron is a MAN now!”

A few years back, I saw him at several film festivals and thought to myself, ‘I could fit him in my pocket! Why the fuss?’

Well, the boy has grown into a sculpted 22-year-old and has graduated from High School Musical movies to sex symbol status.

This summer, he will be shirtless in a scene or two in his new movie Charlie St. Cloud.

Zac does plenty of time in the gym but earlier this year, he shared with Rolling Stone one of his favorite ways to stay fit: “There’s only a few things that can really clear your head. For me, it’s surfing and being outside.”

Now that he’s 18, I feel a little less pervy about displaying the hunkiness of Taylor Lautner.

The Twilight star is the new GQ cover man and my guess is he will help sell a lot of magazines. In the accompanying interview, he comes off as a sweet kid who still lives with his parents and mows the lawn etc.

It sounds like he was raised a lot better than Lindsay Lohan!

Anyway, Taylor worked extraordinarily hard to create the buff body he unveiled in the second Twilight film and will display again in the latest film out later this month. But that doesn’t mean he’ll rip off his shirt for any role.

Bradley Cooper’s latest film, The A-Team, hit theaters yesterday.

Audiences who already think Bradley is a hunk will be in for a real treat when he reveals a buffer-than-ever body in the flick.

The Hangover star chatted with People mag about his abs and biceps and stuff.

“When I first saw myself, I thought it was a joke,” he said. “Like someone put my head on another person’s body. For awhile I was emailing my friends pictures of me, saying, ‘Dude! Check this out!’”

But the buffness does not last forever.

“I shrunk back down two weeks after we finished shooting. It was depressing. Before that, I spent much longer brushing my teeth [to look at myself in the mirror].”

Still, he was happy to be able to resume his regular eating habits.

“I was craving pizza so badly that the night we finished shooting I ate two arugula and prosciutto pies and a plate of Cherry Garcia ice cream with trail mix on top of it. And I did it again the next night.”

The guys on those commercials were these such muscular perfection that you were tempted to pull out a credit card each time one of the spots came on. But you ended up not ordering it because you were so mesmerized by what was happening onscreen.

Well, Bradley Cooper was watching those commercials too. For his latest role in the upcoming feature film adaptation of The A Team, he’s developed a physique that could make one of his childhood dreams come true: “As the movie progressed, I got in increasingly better shape. There’s this one fight scene with Liam Neeson toward the end, where it’s, like, the apex of the work … I swear to God, it looked like my head was digitally superimposed onto someone else’s body. I was like, ‘This cannot be me—that’s the way I look?’ … ‘Cause as a kid I only fantasized about looking that way. Remember Soloflex commercials? That was huge when I was a kid. It was like, ‘I wanna be the Soloflex guy. Mom, can we get the Soloflex?’”

Stars of daytime television gathered on Wednesday at the Salvation Army Center in Van Nuys to distribute food, hygiene and cosmetics donations to families. The event will be featured on the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards’s telecast next month.

Victor Alfieri, Kyle Lowder and Eric Martsolf (above, L-R) were among those who lent muscle to the effort.

Young and the Restless stars Michael Muhney, Daniel Goddard and Stacy Haiduck were very enthusiastic and friendly as they handed out boxes.

Michael Muhney and Daniel Goddard are co-stars and great pals off-screen. They made a good tag-team handing out goods – and smiles.

Gorgeous Kyle Lowder of Bold & the Beautiful told Greg In Hollywood he was happy to help: “This is the best. We’re so blessed to be able to do what we do for a living and I’ve always felt that it’s not just a responsibility but an obligation to make sure that we give back and do whatever we can to help out in whatever aspects we can. I love doing stuff like this. It feels good.”

Daniel Goddard even brought his own camera along to record some of the event.

Michael Muhney was the life of the party and after most of the goods were handed out, clowned around with co-stars and showed off what he insists were unimpressive muscles. I disagree!

“I love people,” Michael said. “I’m as gregarious person and it’s nice to interact. It’s good for a person to be involved in charity from time to time so they remind themselves that people aren’t just statistics in a newspaper. If you get one-on-one with folks, you kind of remind yourself to be a lot more compassionate about what’s going on around you and it might remind you to be more charitable.”

It was great to meet Eric Martsolf who joined Days of Our Lives two years ago after spending six years on Passions. He feels lucky to be working and to be helping: “It’s a great day, my first time doing this. You get addicted to doing stuff like this because, selfishly, it makes you feel wonderful about what you have and what we take for granted. We’re really blessed so why not bridge the gab between people who have a lot and people who don’t have a lot. The disparity is just crazy, there’s no middle class anymore.”

Eric Martsolf and Kyle Lowder have something unusual in common: both have played Brady Black on Days of Our Lives.

Veteran daytime stars Dan Diamont and Heather Tom of Bold and the Beautiful were part of the team of helpers.

Whether he’s stripping down to his underwear for a fashion show (pictured, last year in Montreal) or imitating the tics and mannerisms of other players, tennis star Novak Djokovic can always be counted on for some off-court fun.

The Serbian player, ranked third in the world and winner of the 2008 Australian Open, is in character in this parody of the Shakira video Gypsy. Wearing a blond wig and shaking his booty, Novak rubs the chest of fellow pro Victor Troicki then goes in for the kiss.

Darn it though, something gets in the way of the lip-lock!

I could care less. It will be so great to spend time with Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte again and I predict huge opening weekend grosses at the box office.

But it’s not a movie just about the women. There are some wonderful guys in the flick and they all showed up for the movie’s premiere this week at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

My all-time favorite is John Corbett (pictured, left) who makes a welcome return as Aidan, the man Carrie should have ended up with in my opinion.

Anyway, here are the SATC dudes: the gorgeous (2) Jason Lewis who plays Samantha’s true love Smith Jerrod, the one and only (3) Chris Noth who is the one and only Mr. Big, Carrie’s husband John.

(4) The hilarious Mario Catone is the hilarious Anthony and his character gets married to Stanford (5) played by Willie Garson the film and Liza Minnelli sings at their wedding!

But I can appreciate how sad some fans are that they will no longer be getting a weekly fix of super sexy Josh Holloway who played bad boy Sawyer for all six seasons.

Josh is on the cover of the latest issue of Men’s Health and I thought I’d share with you some of what he has to say about his post-Lost plans:

People have offered him TV roles, and he’s said no. And he’s not interested in playing another Sawyer type, either. He’ll always love Sawyer, he says, but he’s explored the character so thoroughly he’s damn near given him a physical. And if Holloway’s not learning, he’s stagnant. And if he’s stagnant, what good is he?

Lost left him with little time to try much else, and he was forced to turn down opportunities. So for his next act, he’s intent on playing roles he’s unpracticed in, and doing it in film, a medium he has less experience with.

“I like the growth that happens to an artist in transition,” he says. “A lot of growth takes place throughout your insecurities, through having to reevaluate something you thought was working and finding a way to make it work differently. All of that is very uncomfortable.”

So how do you know which route is right? “That’s a big question, and it’s answered only by the individual asking it,” Holloway says. You have to look around for answers: to who needs you, to what’s in your reach. And then to yourself. Holloway did that, and thought: I’m a 40-year-old man. I can stay in a comfort zone, or I can try something different. For me it’s now or never. I’m going to go for it.
