He finally has it out with his mom Sami and tells her he saw her having sex with E.J.

Will does not hold back calling Sami and “whore” and telling her he hates her.

Their confrontation takes place as Will has packed his bags and prepares to move in to the bachelor pad EJ has arranged for him.

It’s all pretty dramatic.

Before you get to those scenes, there is a game of cat and mouse between Will and EJ as EJ’s wife demands to know what kind of blackmail they have on each other!

It’s a real tour de force for actor Chandler Massey who is a revelation in these scenes.

And at the end, he decides to go to a party with two of Sonny’s gay friends saying: “I’m finally free.”

The two have plans to go to the movies but before they go, Will wants to talk.

“Lately your friends have been thinking things about me,” he asks Sonny. “How does somebody know when they’re gay?”

Sonny shares with Will his experience coming to terms with his sexuality.

“Every birthday during high school when it came time to blow out the candles, I’d wish that gay Sonny would go away just so I could be like everyone else,” Sonny confessed. “It’s hard to believe I ever felt that way about myself.”

Will listened intently, trying to keep his emotions in check.

“I just lived with hating myself because I thought it would be easier than being myself,” Sonny said. “I was good at school, I was good at sports, why couldn’t I be good at being straight?”

While Will does not come out to Sonny, he wanted his friend to know that he understands: “It just kills me to know that thrre are people out there right now who are living the same lie I was.”

Will is clearly deeply moved and it is such a beautiful scene for these two characters.

I can’t help but think about all the young viewers watching this show, some who may be struggling with coming out to their families or themselves. This episode, I hope, provides some help.

Will Horton is loving his “internship” with former stepdad EJ even though he is being blackmailed to work for him.

Will teams with EJ to go behind Sami’s back in order to let EJ hold a birthday party for he and Sami’s daughter.

This has Sami furious and we can expect to see a real confrontation between mother and son in the coming days.

But Will doesn’t want to talk about it, doesn’t want to think about it.

His discomfort is apparent in these scenes from Days of Our Lives which aired yesterday.

Marlena is starting to get persistent in her conversations with her grandson – reassuring him but also trying to nudge him along.

How long can Will keep it all bottled up?

In the first, we see Will hanging out with Sonny and two of Sonny’s gay friends/ The two guys just assume Will is gay and ask him when he came out to his family.

Sonny comes to his rescue by changing the subject.

It’s interesting though because you see so much that is going on with Will. As the other guys tell their coming out stories, he listens intently and has questions about their family’s reaction. He seems cool as a cucumber through it all but when he gets home and is alone, we get a window into his self-loathing.

It’s first-rate acting from Chandler Massey as Will.

The second clip is a lot of fun as it has Will getting sucked into the world of former stepdaddy E.J. The two really have a wonderful chemistry and the scenes have a nice comic touch at times. Will starting to enjoy his work!

As he grapples with his sexuality and deals with his anger towards his mother, he finds himself getting seduced into the world of former step-dad EJ.

Will genuinely seems to be enjoying moving over to the dark side.

But his mother, Sami, and his grandmother, Marlena, are not about him let into slip into EJ’s clutches without a fight!

They don’t understand why Will would want to be involved with EJ – they have no idea he’s being blackmailed about being gay and about shooting EJ! The plot is indeed thickening!

Sami finds out that Will is working for her evil ex-husband, EJ, and she’s not happy.

She remains clueless about why her son has been so angry and still thinks it’s because he misses ex-girlfriend Gabi.

“You are so wrong,” Will tells his mom.

But he has not yet told her that he saw her and EJ having sex or that he’s gay so it’s no surprise that Sami has no idea what the heck is going on!

I really love what is going on right now with Will on Days of Our Lives. He is dealing with his sexuality at the same time that he is beginning to work for EJ – under blackmail conditions.

The first two videos have Will (Chandler Massey) doing his errands for EJ and we also get to see the wonderful bromance between straight Chad (Casey Deidrick) and gay Sonny (Freddie Smith). They are so great together! Getting coffee together, Sonny says, ‘Sugar?’ Chad replies: ‘Don’t you think it’s a little early in the morning for you to be hitting on me?’

Love those guys!

We also get to see Will chatting with Sonny’s dad about having a gay son who tells Will: ‘Nothing about Sonny’s sexual orientation changes how I feel about him. I want him to fall in love  with a good person who makes him happy … We wouldn’t change one thing about Sonny. Not one thing.”

Will had been telling Sonny earlier about how he wasn’t leaving town and a lot of other thinly-veiled references to his sexuality even though he can’t seem to say the word ‘gay’ out loud.

“I’m tired of being good little Will,” he says. “I’m tired of pretending. I’m done. I’m done with a lot of things. I want to be open to things around me. New people and new ideas … I want to try something new.”

Right on cue, here comes Matteo (Jai Rodriguez), a potential investor in Sonny’s new coffee house which will be called Common Grounds, a place where anyone – gay, straight, young or old – can feel comfortable.

Will has a good chemistry with Matteo and agrees to meet him the next day then gets scared and retreats.

After Will flees, Sonny tells Matteo not to take it personally.

“It’s just hard on him,” Sonny says of Will. “[He's] just not there yet.”

Here are the scenes – and kudos to Massey and Smith for especially strong performances in these episodes. Both are inhabiting their characters so well.

Our boy Will Horton confronts former stepdad EJ about sleeping with Sami and threatens to expose him unless EJ agrees to finance Will’s leaving town.

But there is a real twist here – and something I did not see coming – that allows EJ to absolutely turn the tables on Will.

It’s a great showdown and poor Will is now in EJ’s clutches. It turns out EJ has more on Will than Will has on him.

“Welcome to your worst nightmare William,” EJ says. “I own you.”

If you’ve been following these clips of Days of Our Lives in recent weeks, then you are just dying to have Will just spill the beans about seeing his mother, Sami, having sex with her ex-husband, E.J.

It starts to come to a head on New Year’s Eve. After Will bolts from a party in the town square, he goes to grandma Marlena’s house and starts to unload.

“I’m such a complete idiot,” he tells his grandma. “My life is a complete mess. I can’t even act normal around my friends anymore. … I can’t control my emotions. My life is spinning out of control.”

Marlena suggests he sit down but Will, pacing, cannot: “I can’t sit down grandma, I can’t breathe. I’m too stressed.”

At this point, we don’t know if Will is going to share about being gay or about his mom.

He goes with Sami.

“Mom cheated on Rafe and I saw her having sex with E.J. … She cheated on Rafe! Grandma, she lied to him! And she lied to you and she lied to me. She’s a selfish SLUT and I cannot stand that she’s getting away with it.”

There it is. He’s told someone about THAT. The gay thing will take awhile longer. But the seeds are being planted. Will meets up with Sonny and a flirtatious and very appealing Tyler at the party and is clearly intrigued with their chemistry – terrified, but intrigued.

EJ is watching them from afar and you can see the wheels turning in his head about Will hanging out with the gay guys.

But what I do know is that I’m so glad she’s back on the show in time for her character of Dr. Marlena Evans to help her grandson, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), come to the realization that he is gay.

Today’s scenes between the two are just heartbreaking and such a glorious payoff for we fans who suffered through the horrible computer hacking story!

Marlena and Will are having a heart-to-heart and a tearful Will says: ‘I want to be able to feel like I can breathe again.’

He explains his ex-girlfriend, Gabi, was right to break up with him because things were not right between them.

‘I wanted to be the boyfriend that she wanted but it felt so fake and she knew that. She called me on it. … She probably knew how I felt more than I did.’

Will then closes back up. But Marlena knows he’s on his way to a breakthrough: “Whatever you tell me, please remember I will always – always – love you and I will never judge you.”

Those are words any kid struggling with their sexuality would dearly love to hear.

Will later runs into Sonny at the pub where Sonny is to meet a gay friend Tyler who may or may not be a love interest. The two share an easy chemistry and humor and there’s a longing in Will’s eyes as he watches them interact.

It’s just heartbreaking and so real.

Further proof why Mr. Massey won the Greggy Award this week for Daytime Soap Star of the Year.

But stepdad Rafe interrupted and Will has not yet told his mom that he is seething over seeing her having sex with her ex-husband.

Below are the scenes featuring Will (Chandler Massey) in the Christmas-themed episodes of Days of Our Lives. I love the scenes with his grandmother Marlena (Deidre Hall).

Will and Marlena are close and he begins to share with her some feelings that set the scene a bit for his eventual coming out.

“I just thought that Gabi and I could make it work,” Will tells his grandmother of his now ex-girlfriend. “I guess I loved the idea of us more than I loved her. I’ve been having these feelings for awhile now and I can’t get rid of them. I’ve been trying but I can’t.”

When Marlena asks him what kind of feelings but Will decides it’s not the right time.

Lots going on with Will right now and Mr. Massey continues to be so compelling in the role. Emmy voters will be taking notice.

The bright side, these scenes from last Friday and Monday brings it all to and end – the bad guys got caught.

But geez, it was awful – you just didn’t buy any of it for a second.

Ultimately, it was just a big waste of time – and talent.

But this clip, from Friday’s Days of Our Lives, takes us back to the ridiculous website storyline involving Will, Chad and Sonny.

Please make it go away. Please. Please. Please.

Meanwhile, a shirtless photo of Will (Chandler Massey) just to help with the pain of seeing our sexy trio through this ill-advised plot.

For someone who is as angry as he is – especially at his unfaithful mom – it’s a pretty combustible situation.

Chandler Massey continues to impress us not only with his considerable acting ability but also his wardrobe – the T-shirt Will wears in these scenes is just a perfect fit!

Things are turning upside down for our gay teen Will Horton on Days of Our Lives.

In these scenes that aired on Monday (a preview for today’s episode is also included), Will is still reeling from the shock of his mother’s infidelity with his former stepfather as well as his girlfriend Gabi breaking up with hm at a dinner party attended by their circle of friends.

“It was so humiliating,” Will says bitterly to his mother.

Watch!

I can so relate to his panic about being gay and not wanting to be. Unfortunately, I can also relate to his determination to make it work with a girlfriend even though he doesn’t feel a sexual attraction.

These scenes from Friday’s Days of Our Lives really hit home with me and are the beginning of a terrific payoff for long-suffering Will fans who endured him being saddled with the silly website storyline. (The shuttered website is mentioned briefly by Sonny as the gang gathers for dinner: “We’re upset about it but there’s not a lot we can do about it now,” he says, not sounding at all upset).

Will has been pushing hard for Gabi to move in with him but she knows there are issues telling her girlfriends: “Have you ever met a guy who shies away from sex? He’s in complete denial.”

When Will and Gabi have a talk, Will reminds me of my teenage self when he says with determination: “I’m confident we can make this work. Gabi, I know that I can.”

Gabi indicates she wants Will to want to have sex with her, he says angrily: “Why does everything have to be about sex? Why? Sorry if I want to be respectful and treat you like a human being and not a piece of meat!”

Thankfully, Gabi has too much self awareness to continue to blame herself: “You back off every time I touch you. So tell me what is going on. … It’s not me. It’s not.”

She breaks up with Will and he completely loses it, trashing his Aunt Maggie’s kitchen.

We see an unhinged side of Will who is reeling from seeing his mother having sex with her ex while his little brother was missing and now he feels panicked to be losing Gabi.

Lots of drama ahead and, no doubt, another Emmy nomination for a superb Chandler Massey. He is showing us what a top-notch actor he is by conveying so many emotions in a believable way and making us feel like we are embarking on this rocky and emotional journey with Will.

He’s at war with his mother after seeing her having sex with her ex and wants to move out of the house.

He suggests to his long-suffering girlfriend Gabi that they move in together. She’s game until Will pulls away from her after they begin to kiss.

“I don’t want a roommate Will, ” Gabi says. “I want to be with someone who wants me.”

In these scenes, Chandler Massey as Will really delivers. He conveys Will’s panic at being gay but not wanting to be. This is so much better than the Internet hacking plot!

(Thinking her son was dead, Will’s mom had sex with her ex-husband and Will walked in on them. He is now trying to get her to admit it.)

“You abandoned your family when we needed you the most,” Will says to his mom. “What kind of mother does that to her kids?”

Chandler Massey continues to impress us with his performance and the previews show us that much more drama is to come!

His little brother, Johnny, disappeared and when a body is found, news reports state that it is Johnny. (Someone better be fired from that fictional news station!)

But Will and his stepfather Rafe find the boy safe and Will go looking for his mom to share the news. What he walks in on is a really shocking scene! You will have to watch to find out.
