Carrie Fisher takes to Twitter to blast body shamers: “My BODY hasn’t aged as well as I have. Blow us.”
Anyone who has ever read one of Carrie Fisher’s books or seen her live show or watched her being interviewed on TV knows that whatever her weight is has got to be the least interesting thing about her.
She’s brilliantly funny and talented and gorgeous always.
She had to lose 35 pounds to reprise her role of Leia in Star Wars: The Force Awakens so there’s been a lot of chatter about how she’s held up.
Carrie took to Twitter today to tell everyone off as only she can: “Please stop debating about whether OR not I aged well. Unfortunately it hurts all 3 of my feelings. My BODY hasn’t aged as well as I have. Blow us.”
She added: “My body is my brain bag, it hauls me around to those places and in front of faces where there’s something to say or see.”
