“Call Me Kat” co-stars Leslie Jordan and Cheyenne Jackson open up with Pride Source

I don’t know about you but I watch every single episode of Call Me Kat which is even more delicious in its second season.

Two of the most delicious reasons are Leslie Jordan and Cheyenne Jackson who are just magic together and with the rest of the gifted cast that also includes Mayim Bialik as the title character and Swoosie Kurtz as her mother.

The two out actors spoke with Chris Azzopardi of Pride Source recently and it is clear this is one of their favorite jobs ever. How can you not love being part of a show that ends each episode with a curtain call?! If you have not see this show yet, I highly recommend you head over to Hulu and catch up!

“I just want it to go for a while,” says Jordan. “I’m at an age. I’m 66. I was thinking if it went as long as “Big Bang Theory,” I’d be like almost 80 [laughs] when it’s over. I’ll be ready to retire. I’d be so rich.”

Says Jackson: “One of the biggest joys of this has been to get to to know Leslie on a true friend basis, because the queer experience in Hollywood is you have to have lived it to understand it. And I’m in my mid 40s now, and you know, I’ve been around a while. So I love to have mentors, and I love to have queer mentors. And Leslie has stories and advice and just so much wisdom.”
