Caitlyn Jenner on Hillary Clinton: ‘She couldn’t care less about women – she cares about herself’
Caitlyn Jenner is no fan of Hillary Clinton.
The Republican transgender reality star made her feelings clear about the woman who is vying to become the first female president of the United States on the season two premiere of her reality series I Am Cait,
Jenner, on a bus tour in Iowa with a group of other transgender women, was asked if she wanted to stop at the Democratic debate that was going on.
‘It’s the last place I want to be,’ Jenner said. ‘But I’m open. We need both sides and if we’re unfortunate enough get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side. Although she won’t be – she couldn’t care less about women.’
Added Jenner: ‘She cares about herself.’
Jenner, 66, was asked which of the Republican candidates she thought would help transgender people and she said: ‘All of them. They don’t hate gays or trans people. They are more “I want a thriving economy so every trans person has a job.”‘
All major Republican candidates have expressed their stance against same-sex marriage and some have spoken out against transgender protections.
