Broadway’s Nick Adams and Kyle Brown on how romance started on ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’
As you know, I’m just crazy about Broadway star Nick Adams who I enjoyed so much in Wicked at the Pantages Theatre last year. Nick first got on my radar when he was appearing in A Chorus Line and had to have his role altered a bit because he was more buff than the show’s replacement star Mario Lopez. He went on to appear in The Pirate Queen, Guys and Dolls, and La Cage aux Folles before landing one of the starring roles in Priscilla Queen of the Desert. And that is where he met his partner of six years, Kyle Brown. In this video, they share the story of how their choreographer kept pairing them up, until, inevitably, a “showmance” blossomed into a six-year relationship.
