Breaking News: Andrea Martin will revive her Tony Award-winning role in “Pippin” at Pantages
This is fantastic news.
Producers of the 2013 Tony Award winning Best Revival of a Musical Pippin have announced that Andrea Martin, who won 2013 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for creating the role of “Berthe” in the Broadway production, will reprise the role for the L.A. Premiere at the Hollywood Pantages.
The engagement will run October 21 through November 9. Tickets are now on sale to the general public online at www.HollywoodPantages.com or www.Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-982-2787 or at the Hollywood Pantages Box Office located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard (Opens daily at 10am.)
I’ve seen the first two episodes of Miss Martin’s new NBC comedy Working the Engels. She has some very funny moments on this show which I am not sure how long it will be around. She will next be seen on screen in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, to be released this fall. Her book of autobiographical essays Andrea Martin’s Lady Parts will be published by Harper Collins in September.
