Breakfast w/Greg: Carrie Prejean’s “disgusted” reaction to her own sex tape; Pretty boy pastor Joel Osteen says gays are “not God’s best”

Good morning everyone.

I’m a little late getting off the dime today but now raring to go!

So, I hate to kick a bigot when she’s down but this Carrie Prejean sex tape business is just too ironic. As is typical, it’s the screwed up people who go around judging others and talking “morals” and “values” who end up with all the secrets and lies.

Anyway, it was reported yesterday that Carrie’s lawyers went from asking $1 million in a lawsuit against Miss California USA pageant officials to quickly settling for far less after they learned that a sex tape involving Carrie was out there.

Today TMZ reports that when the pageant lawyers first showed Carrie the tape, her reaction was to say “that’s disgusting” and  one of disgust and she denied it was her:

Then, the camera angle changed … and panned up to her face. She was caught red-handed … so to speak.

Carrie was rendered speechless and immediately began talking with her lawyer. We’re told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million dollar demand.

You have to wonder how this affect sales of Carrie’s new “book” which is called Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks.

I’m here at the Barnes & Noble looking through a copy (you didn’t expect me to buy it, did you?) and the blurbs on the back of the book jacket are from Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter and the forward is by Sean Hannity.

At the end of  her 193-page “book,” the anti-gay marriage activist writes this message to God: “Thank you for giving me this final chance to honor you in front of the entire world.”

If I were Carrie and her supporters, I’d leave that honoring up to someone else!

ANOTHER PRETTY BIGOT: Joel Osteen is that really good looking guy with the gorgeous eyes who you see preaching on TV on Sunday mornings.

He just seems filled with love and joy.

But as you see in this clip from The View this week (he was on hawking his new book), Joel is pretty much where Carrie Prejean is when it comes to same-sex marriage: he doesn’t think it should be allowed although gays are apparently welcome in his church.

“They’re all welcome but what I believe is that what the scripture teaches is that homosexuality is not God’s best,” he tells Whoopi Goldberg. “…I can’t pick and choose, I love everybody. I can’t say I don’t have friends who are gay, they’re some of the nicest people in the world.”

Just not “God’s best” apparently.

3 Remarks

  1. Prejean–wow. She does really represent Xtianity AND the NOM bigots. Too bad for them.

As for the religous joker, he’s a cowardly loser (from what I hear)

  2. “Carrie was rendered speechless and immediately began talking with her lawyer.” Wow. She IS talented!

  3. 19. “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” –From Hamlet (III, ii, 239)

    19. Is my permanent reminder list in my journal you don’t want to know what #229 – 236 is now don’t you?

Bye the bye #19. is for both of them clowns!
