Brad Davis was born 70 years ago today

Brad Davis is the Mantique of the Day (born November 6, 1949) because you simply can't find a pic of him in which he is not the personification of sexy. He was also an incredible talent, as is evidenced in such projects as "Sybil" (1976; he shares his b'day today with co-star Sally Field), "Midnight Express" (1978), "Chariots of Fire" (1981) and the queer phantasm "Querelle" (1982), among others. He was also in the groundbreaking AIDS-themed play "As Is" (1985), which was art imitating life — the bisexual actor, who had previously battled addiction, had HIV, knew it, and kept the information a secret. Ravaged by AIDS, he took his own life in 1991. #braddavis #gay #bisexual #lgbt #lgbtq #hiv #hivaids #aids #querelle #midnightexpress #sybil #chariotsoffire #rosaliegoesshopping #roots #asis #celebritybirthdays #gr8erdays #hotguys #shirtless #shirtlessguys #muscles #handsome #handsomeman #mantiques

2 Remarks

  1. A ruggedly handsome and extreme talent.

  2. Remembering Brad, hurts him having Aids and dying by his own hand but I’m happy to remember the man with awesome talent and he had loads. Midnight Express was my introduction to Brad and I feel all the better for having seen some of talent.
    Miss him Yes I do.
