Andrew Rannells tells Stephen Colbert about his pre-fame job as a greeter at a Warner Bros. store in NYC
‘The Boys in the Band’ star Andrew Rannellspaid a visit to Stephen Colbert last night and my favorite part of the interview is when he talks about his pre-fame job working at the Warner Bros. store in Manhattan as “the greeter.” He would say: “Welcome to Warner Bros store – eight floors of fun!” But in a delicious diva moment, he quit in the middle of his shift and wanted to know where the Tweety Bird mud flaps were.
“I said first of all, ‘This is so depressing. Don’t buy them. I don’t know where they are, I barely work here.’ Then I went up to my manager and said, ‘I have to leave … something bad might happen if I stay here any longer.”
