Andrew Garfield: ‘As far as I know, I am not a gay man. Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life’
Oscar-nominated actor Andrew Garfield seems to enjoy kissing other men – as long as they are famous and it’s on television.
Earlier this year he famously smooched Ryan Reynolds at the Golden Globe Awards to make him feel better after Reynolds lost in the best actor category to Ryan Gosling.
Then he tenderly kissed Stephen Colbert – twice – during an appearance on The Late Show..
Now Garfield is appearing on the London stage with Russell Tovey as a gay man in a production of Angels in America.
This, of course, leads to conversations about the actor’s own sexuality.
“As far as I know, I am not a gay man,’ he said during a discussion about Angels.
“Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden, but right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful, as well.”
