Anderson Cooper wins $50,000 for Trevor Project by winning Jeopardy! Power Players game
Anderson Cooper competed against Kelly O’Donnell of NBC News and Thomas Friedman of the New York Times on Jeopardy on Friday – the final night of its Power Players week.
The CNN Silver Fox picked a very worthy charity to donate his winnings to: The Trevor Project, a much-needed organization which works to prevent suicides among LGBT youth.
“It’s a smaller group of $50,000 would mean and awful lot to them,” Anderson said.
