“American Idol” alum Fantasia Barrino says her slam on gay marriage was taken out of context
Okay, I don’t really get this one at all.
I mean, c’mon people, stay off Twitter and just breathe deep and calm yourself down before you completely throw away your career.
So Fantasia Barrino, the singer who managed to beat Jennifer Hudson and all other challengers to win season three of American Idol, apparently has a problem with gay marriage.
The Grammy winner took to her Intragram account and posted a rant which read in part: ‘Its a lot going on that the Bible speaks about we should Not be doing: Weed legal in some places, Gay Marriage Legal BUT YET IM JUDGED!!!’
Once the rant appeared on the Good As You blog and spread, a spokesman for Barrino released a statement saying her words were taken out of context: ‘Ms. Barrino is not now, nor has she ever been an opponent of the LGBT community. She has supported and performed at numerous events that are sponsored by the LGBT community. Whether it’s through a live performance or placement on social media, Ms. Barrino uses every opportunity to reach out and connect with her fans, all of her fans.’

Sounds like she has a stick up her ass to me. Maybe she feels like her career hasn’t gone the way she wants it too? Not sure why anyone cares what she thinks anyway.
