A chat w/Sarah Silverman

The funniest thing happened when I plopped myself down next to Sarah Silverman at the recent Television Critics Association press tour. She was not given the chance to give a presentation at the event and was there just there to introduce a preview of the upcoming season of The Sarah Silverman Program premiering Feb. 4.

So she lingered in the lobby to chat with some of us reporters and the group just grew and grew. She looked up at one point during the impromptu pow wow and said: “This just feels so right.”

Now for the funny part involving me. My tape recorder was practically in Sarah’s face and suddenly my tape ran out and there was this loud “click.”

(No, I don’t use digital – just deal with it.)

Sarah stops and laughs as I turned the tape over and she says: “What? Do you have a TIME MACHINE at home?”
